the color:

For this look we established a rich base color to balance out the clients tone and gently brighten up her natural color by using Paul Mitchell’s permanent color line, The Color.  We lightened the ends by using a High Lift neutral beige shade, using a balayage technique to add dimension and interest.   

 

the cut:

For the cut we put in gentle layers to enhance the client’s natural curl and take out weight, and added a heavy side-swept bang to add a youthfull and effortless element.

 

the style:

To style we treated the hair with Moroccan Oil Intensive Curl Crème for moisture, control and shine, then round brushed while blow drying with a nozzle to smooth the hair, and finished by twisting a flat iron through large vertical sections of the hair to add casual, flirty waves, finger combing through the waves using a small amount of Morrocan Oil Treatment Oil to add shine and definition.

the color:

Although this client has a deep natural color, we richened it up a bit to accentuate the curl patern and shine by applying Paul Mitchell Flash Backs 10-minute color for men.  This deep demi-permanent color added moisture and a warmer tone to help make the curls come to life. 

 

the cut:

We know it's important to have a cut that will look good for as long as possible for the busy, modern person.  For that reason we went for something short and tailored by fading up the back, sides, and temples, while maintaining texture and design by enhancing the clients' curl throughout the top with point cutting.

 

Just because you're going for a clean cut doesn't mean you can't rock some mean faciral hair, and this look shows that trend off handsomely.  By tailoring in the transition between the hairline and the facial hair, we're able to keep the look professional, while still maintaining the ease of the style.
